Arc Suburban is dedicated to the empowerment of
people with developmental disabilities and their families so they experience choice in how
they live, learn, work, and play. Parents of Children with Cerebral Palsy,
provide support and exchange information on a monthly meeting basis for parents,
caregivers, and siblings.
Other programs by ARC Suburban:
Parent to Parent Networking Program.
This is a one-to-one peer support to parents that is provided by trained parent
volunteers. It provides shared experience, emotional support, ideas and resource
information.
Free advocacy for people with
developmental disabilities of all ages and their families.
Family Education. We provide trainings and skill building workshops on topics and trends
that affect the lives of the people we serve.
Computer site. Arc offers IBM
and Macintosh computers, adaptive devices, software programs and Internet access free of
charge for children and adults.

The Networking Group for Families
with Children with Cerebral Palsy meets the third Thursday evening of the month from
7:00-8:30P.M at the Family of Christ Lutheran Church. The group gathers to discuss topics
and services relating to their children with cerebral palsy.
Sibling groups for all ages
are held throughout the year in Dakota County for siblings who have brothers or sisters

of networking groups offered by Arc Suburban for parents and caregivers of people

The Networking Group for Families with Children with Cerebral Palsy is still
looking for interested individuals to assist with childcare during their monthly meetings.
The group meets the 3rd Thursday of the month at Family of Christ Lutheran Church from
7:00-8:30pm.
