Fundraising

The Family of Christ youth are involved in all types of fundraising to support their many activities - primarily for their annual summer mission trips. Beginning in October and going usually into July, they work very hard to raise enough money to fund their entire summer mission trip - as well as an automatic tithe to community organizations.
Most participants "bank" their earnings in individual fundraising accounts kept by the Crosswalk Youth program. These accounts keep track of what they earned as well as fees and deposits that are paid out throughout the season.

Fundraising activities this year include:

  • Grocery bagging at local Cub stores
  • Craft & Bake sales
  • Scratch-Off cards
  • Selling dried flower arrangements
  • Christmas gift wrapping
  • Lenten Soup Mugs & baked goodies for sale Wednesdays during Lent.
  • Rent-A-Kid
  • Selling shares to share holders
  • Applebees breakfast
  • Glow-in-the-dark necklace sales at the Lakeville Fourth of July celebration.

The Youth Ministry Team is always looking for new ways to raise funds for their activities.
